Give the Gift of a Garden

Good News Spring is Here!

Health & Safety

In lieu of the current restrictions we are experiencing in Boone County, CMSE Giving Gardens will be changing their hours and methods of operation. We are allowed to stay open since we grow vegetable/food products, but with this being said, we also need to protect our employees and staff.

Again, we thank everyone for their patience as things seem to keep changing daily.
Remember together we will get through this.

Spring Hours

Since it is fairly impossible to maintain the 6’ social distancing guideline we are going to go to strictly online sales. We are currently working out all of the logistics for this and will be temporarily closed until April 1. Please watch our Facebook and Website pages for all details on ordering, pick-up and hours of operation.

Upcoming Projects

We are currently working on a couple of projects that hopefully will make your life easier, i.e. ordering online, and gardening kits for those bored students. Please watch our Website and Facebook for details. We appreciate your help and support at this difficult time. Remember together we will get through it.

About Giving Gardens

For over 40 years, CMSE has been fostering growth by providing meaningful work for people with disabilities. This continuous dedication to growth has inspired us to create Giving Gardens, a retail nursery that features the most colorful mums, shrubs, succulents, herbs, and vegetables.

Gardening Classes

Our classes are fun and educational. The greenhouse staff enjoys sharing their knowledge and passion for gardening. Gardeners of all levels are welcome and most classes are “hands-on”. Class offerings and availability change seasonally. Be sure to check the classes page to view current offerings. We encourage you to come dig in the dirt with us!
